Powered by the twirling stage theatrics of singer Erin O'Hara and the interweaving guitars of Seth Kaufman and Mitch Rosen,
alterna-dance band Mambo-X was one of Albany NY's most popular acts.
After gigging extensively on the East Coast and releasing a single, a flexi-disc and the EP Machines of Eden, the band recorded Whirled in 1988 with producer Mitch Easter and then promptly imploded.
