This afro-ska version of Bad Company's classic single was recorded after Mambo-X won a Battle of the Bands competition and was awarded a free recording session and single. We recorded "Sister Catherine" and this track. When a technical snafu botched our version of "Sister Catherine," the single was never released.

We were so bummed! Along with "Mambo Sun," "Can't Get Enough" was probably the band's favorite cover. We are thrilled to finally share it. Perhaps other covers--"Fashion," "I Zimbra," "You Shook Me All Night Long"--will surface as we root through tapes. Fingers crossed.

Powered by the twirling stage theatrics of singer Erin O'Hara and the interweaving guitars of Seth Kaufman and Mitch Rosen, alterna-dance band Mambo-X was one of Albany NY's most popular acts.

After gigging extensively on the East Coast and releasing a single, a flexi-disc and the EP Machines of Eden, the band recorded Whirled in 1988 with producer Mitch Easter and then promptly imploded.
